Laurie Rudel, Pastor

Ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in 1988, Laurie has served as Pastor of Queen Anne Christian Church in Seattle since 1991.

In addition to her work as Pastor, Laurie also serves at Seattle University as Liturgical Coordinator for seminary students of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) attending the School of Theology and Ministry.

Over the years she has served on the Boards of:

•         The Washington Association of Churches
•         The Church Council of Greater Seattle
•         The Center for the Prevention of Sexual and Domestic Violence
                     (now the Faith Trust Institute)
•         The Northwest Regional Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

Laurie loves to write, weave, sing, cook, weed the garden, InterPlay, read, create prayer beads and personalized prayer cards.

She and her partner, Barb Scamman, live in Lake Forest Park under a canopy of tall fir trees.
