Lori Hutchings was introduced to the piano at age four when her family
bought their first Steinway. Serious study began at age eleven and continued
through college.
She received her Bachelor of Music at Washington State University in 1974 and Master of Arts at the Ohio State University in 1979.
During the years of raising two children she kept her fingers in shape by playing at Queen Anne Christian Church (1982 - present) and for many ballet classes.
