I'm a member of The Esoterics and am about to sing at Queen Anne Christian Church (QACC). What do I need to know?
Continue reading to find answers to our most common questions.Q1 - Why am I singing at QACC?
A1 - The Esoterics rehearse at QACC in exchange for free
rehearsal space. Each member sings once per calendar year at a Sunday morning service at QACC. QACC is the largest annual in-kind supporter of The Esoterics.
Q2 - What time should I arrive?
A2 - This will depend on the difficulty level of the music. You will receive an e-mail with details in the week prior to your date. If not instructed otherwise, plan to be ready to sing at 9 AM (arrive at 8:55).
Q3 - What am I supposed to wear?
A3 - Wear something nice. Formal concert dress is not required; in fact it is better if you do not wear your concert black.
Q4 - What can I expect in the worship service?
A4 - The service itself is simple and the people are warm and welcoming. They very much appreciate your gift of music.
Q5 - What if I can't come on Sunday morning or have religious reasons not to attend?
A5 -
If you are not able to commit to a Sunday morning there are other options for you to fulfill your commitment such as helping out in the music library on another day or finding someone who will sing again to fulfill your commitment.
Q6 - Who is the contact person if I have a question?
A6 - If you any questions, please direct them according to the table below:

| Eric Banks | Director of The Esoterics | The Esoterics | eric@theesoterics.org |
| Mary Wieneke | The Esoterics' Coordinator | Scheduling | wienekem@gmail.com |

Q7 - May I sing a solo or join with another member to offer a duet?
A7 - Yes, you may sing a solo or duet at any time. Please let Mary know when you would like to do it and schedule it with the Pastor or Choir Director.
Q8 - I'm afraid of singing a solo, how can I fulfill my commitment?
A8 - Once a month, there will be an opportunity to sign up with Mary to sing with the QACC Choir or in a Quartet or Octet of your choosing. Mary will work with the Choir Director to make sure you have music ahead of time.
Q9 - How much of a time commitment will this be?
A9 - The service itself lasts a little over an hour, with an hour of rehearsal beforehand. Additionally, you will need to learn the music, so that may take an hour or so before Sunday. A generous estimate would be 3 hours total.

A10 - The dates for 2008 are as follows: March 16 (Palm Sunday), March 23 (Easter), May 11 (Pentecost Day), June 15, November 23, December 21, December 24 - 5pm Christmas Eve Service.
