- ASJ stands for "The Association for a More Just Society" & the mission says that, "We strive to be brave Christians, dedicated to doing justice in Honduras and to inspiring others around the world to seek justice in their own contexts."
- ASJ is a non-profit organization based in Honduras focused on addressing the root causes of poverty and corruption.
- ASJ has existed for over 20 years now, and we are focused on making the public systems of health, security, and education work in the best way they possibly can for everyone, especially those living in the most vulnerable communities.
- For example, there are 3 million K-12 school aged kids in Honduras and 2 million of them are enrolled and attend the public school system. It is ASJ's vision to make these schools the best possible for these kids.
- There are over 80 Honduran ASJ staff in Honduras that are at the center of this work. We also have an ASJ-US team that works on raising funds, creating awareness, building partnerships, doing justice education work etc. That US team is composed of 8 people, 4 of which live in Honduras, 4 live across the US.
