"One in the Spirit" Northern Lights Regional Assembly
Friday May 3rd-Sunday May 5th
Wenatchee Convention Center
Guided by 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 our fellow Disciples from Alaska, Washington, Idaho, and Montana will gather to hear powerful speakers among us: Rev. LaMarco “Marco” Cable from Disciples Overseas Missions, and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) General Minister and President Rev. Teresa “Terri” Hord Owens. We will welcome and witness Rev. Hord Owens’ installation of our new Regional Minister, Rev. Paul Allen IV, as a new chapter begins, and we will give thanks for our interim Regional Minister, Rev. Bill Robey, and our regional Search Committee who so faithfully did their important work. We will do the business of the Church as we cover business items, and learn about the work and dreams of our teams, committees, and commissions. As this work continues, they welcome your prayers for their work. We will worship together, sing together, learn together, work together, and share stories and meals. We look forward to “being Church” in person and virtually, and we pray that our Assembly will be a joyful event that empowers each of us to carry out our various ministries. Hope to see you in Wenatchee Register here
